CPA

Certified Public Accountant

A CPA is a certified public accountant who is licensed by a state board of accountancy. To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, you are required to demonstrate knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the CPA exam and completing a specific amount of general accounting experience.

PFS™

Personal Financial Specialist

The Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential is granted exclusively to CPAs with tax expertise and comprehensive knowledge of financial planning. All areas of personal financial planning - estate, retirement, investments and insurance - have tax implications, and only a CPA/PFS has the experience, ethics and expertise to get the job done right.

AIF®

Accredited Investment Fiduciary®

The purpose of the AIF® Designation is to assure those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out that responsibility. F1360 is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board for the AIF® Designation, making the designation part of an elite group of accredited designations recognized by FINRA.

CLU®

Chartered Life Underwriter®

The financial services industry has long relied on the CLU® designation as the benchmark to determine who has extensive knowledge of life insurance. The CLU® designation is helpful when evaluating the life insurance underwriting and risk management needs of business owners and professionals and is an important factor in debt agreements. The CLU® is also instrumental in regard to life insurance law within the context of overall risk management and helping clients address their estate planning needs.
